This policy explains what Grit Global LLC collects when you buy and take the Grit Type Indicator as an individual through this site, what we do with it, and what control you have over it. Team and organisational engagements are covered by a separate agreement.

What we collect

Your name and email address, so we can address your profile to you and send it
Your phone number, if you choose to provide it
Your assessment responses, the answers you give to each item
Your results, the scores and type profile generated from those answers
Basic response timing, how long you spend on items, which is used to calculate a confidence score for your results

We do not collect or store your payment card details. Payments are processed by Stripe, and your card information goes directly to them.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it with advertisers. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.

Team engagements

This policy covers individual purchases made through this site. Team and organisational engagements run under a separate agreement with their own terms. Email support@gritglobal.com for those.

For individual purchases, we do not disclose your profile to anyone. You may share it yourself with whoever you choose. That is your decision, not ours.

To generate and deliver your profile

To improve the assessment, using responses in aggregate
To meet legal and accounting obligations

Who processes it for us

We use a small number of service providers to operate the assessment:

Stripe, for payment processing
Google, which hosts the assessment and stores responses
Netlify, which hosts this website

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. They are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

We retain your responses and profile for as long as we operate the assessment, so that we can resend your profile if you ask and so we can improve the instrument. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, and we will, subject to any records we are legally required to keep for tax and accounting purposes.

Security

Your data is stored on Google's infrastructure and encrypted at rest. Access is limited to people at Grit Global who need it to deliver the product or provide support. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise, but we treat assessment data as sensitive and handle it accordingly.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

Send you a copy of the data we hold about you
Correct anything that is wrong
Delete your data
Stop contacting you

Email support@gritglobal.com from the address you used to purchase, and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies or analytics trackers. The assessment itself uses only the technical storage required to keep your place while you complete it.

Children

The Grit Type Indicator is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we update this policy, the effective date above will change. Material changes affecting how we use existing data will be communicated to the email address you provided.
